The Shaonian Yuekan (少年月刊) monthly magazine was a Chinese educational magazine locally published for Singaporean youths of secondary school age between the period of July 1976 and September 1981. It was one of Singapore’s most popular periodicals in the 1970s, with over 10,000 issues published per month.The periodical was published by Educational Publishing House Pte Ltd (教育出版社), the publishing arm of Popular Holdings Limited which still exists today.
