This postcard depicts a view of St Andrew's Cathedral and the Raffles' Statue, when it was still located on the Padang, before it was moved to its current location in front of the Victoria Memorial Hall in 1919. This postcard is particularly notable for the written address on it (105 River Valley Road, Singapore, Straits Settlement). It has a written message on it saying ‘Received your card today. Hope to hear from you again.’ and is signed ‘G.A.R. Hesseman’.
