This Ektachrome colour transparency shows a series of movie posters of films showing at the Pavilion, New Alhambra, Cathay and Odeon cinemas in Singapore, with a docked junk ship at a distance. Inscribed on the verso are ‘8.9.57’ and ‘Junk and Modern Living’. Ektachrome was a range of transparency and still films developed by the Eastman Kodak Company in the early 1940s.
