Jurong Town Corporation medallion

This gold medallion commemorated the opening of Jurong Town Hall, the headquarters of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), in 1974. JTC was established in 1968 to develop and manage Singapore's industrial estates. This medallion was buried in a time capsule in 1990 by DPM Ong Teng Cheong, and was unearthed as part of Singapore's 50th anniversary celebrations in 2015.
