This is a dessert plate from the Europe Hotel, Singapore. Established at Hill Street in 1857, it later shifted to Beach Road and then to the Esplanade in 1865. It was later rechristened the Grand Hotel de l’Europe, and finally renamed the Europe Hotel in 1918 after a change in owndership. It was demolished in 1934 to make way for service flats.
