Drawing of M. S. Willen Ruys

This is a drawing of the ship MS Willem Ruys, a passenger liner for the Rotterdamsche Lloyd Company. This company largely operated sailing ships for trade between the Netherlands and the then-Dutch East Indies, among other places. This ship began her maiden voyage in 1947. This drawing shows a detailed cross section of the ship, allowing a view of different bunks and berths, as well as storage spaces, including rooms for cars. This drawing was previously displayed in the Raffles Hotel Museum.
