"These are a collection of memograms drawn by Flora and Martin DeMuth, a married couple travelling on board The Empress of Britain. A memogram is pictorial memoranda in the form of illustrated letter sheets; calendars; information sketches of foreign products and strange customs; lecture maps and diagrams; cartoons; entertainment announcements; souvenir postcards and sketches of native types. These were commissioned by cruise companies as promotional material, boosting a companies reputation as a world travel company."
