This a a key with a key tag for room 84, belonging to the Adelphi Hotel. The Adelphi Hotel was established on Coleman Street in 1863. It was subsequently purchased by Arathoon Sarkies and Eleazar Johannes in 1903 and converted into a luxury hotel. It closed in 1973. This item was previously displayed in the Raffles Hotel Museum.
