Peter Low is an established artist with over forty years of experience in the craft. His works show strong technical grounding and an innovative and versatile approach which uses clay of various kinds; from stoneware, terra cotta to porcelain. The appearance of these works are further developed by the artist through painting; the artist treats the surface of the works with a specialised self-mixed glaze. Low’s work shows an aesthetic sensibility which blurs the boundary of utilitarian design and fine art.
