The Rediffusion Times was a bi-weekly magazine that complemented the radio services of Rediffusion. As Singapore’s first cable-transmitted commercial radio station, Rediffusion was popular with households in the 1960s and 1970s due to the variety of programmes, particularly the dialect story-telling programmes, offered and the low subscription rates which were affordable for most people.
