Gift of SFCCA Chui Eng Free School
The Chui Eng Free School was built in 1854 with and endowment by early pioneer Tan Kim Seng for boys in the Hokkien community. Marking the occasion was the erection of two large steles in 1861, on which the school’s founding history and the names of donors were inscribed.
