This grey long-sleeved jacket belonged to the late Christina Lee (1923-2009). It has a boat neck collar, two side pockets and a label that reads ‘Ping Kee Tailor, Hong Kong’, which suggests that it was made in Hong Kong. Christina Lee was the former wife of Loke Wan Tho, the founder and chairman of Cathay Organisation. An accomplished photographer, perfumer and businesswoman, she was a style icon who was remembered for her poise, elegance and impeccable fashion sense. In 1965, she was named by Vogue magazine as one of the most beautiful women in Singapore.
