This album was produced by Tony Wong Magnetic Media (东尼机构). Lena Lim emerged as the champion in a singing competition held by Radio Television Singapura (now Media Corporation of Singapore) in the late 1960s. She became popular in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan in the 1970s and 1980s. She was even invited to grace some musical events in Japan.
