This panel was commissioned to commemorate a traditional Teochew wedding. It was hung at the shop of the family to celebrate the event. It was commissioned by wedding guests who presented the panel to the wedding couple to congratulate them on their wedding. It is embroidered with Taoist motifs and scenes from Chinese cultural history.
