This is a bronze Gandhara relic stupa, with four pillars. It has a double-tiered square base. The anda or the hemispherical dome with inverted lotus pattern rests on a three-tiered circular base. The workmanship is elaborate and its grandeur is evident from the chhatra (parasol held over an honoured figure) of seven tiers. The square base has four circular pillars riveted onto the square base with lions turned back to back, still intact seated atop each pillar. Besides the lions, there is a profusion of Buddha images seated and standing all over the square and circular tiers of the stupa mostly striking the dhyana mudra (meditation posture).
