This pair of colourful, cotton embroidery pieces have designs that comprise spirals, geometric and other motifs. While embroidered cloths were traditionally incorporated in garments and other accessories, these are produced with a combination of cut-and-sewn strips of fabric (appliqué) and embroidered details. Today, the Hmong people have adapted their embroidery arts for the tourist markets in Chiangmai, Bangkok and other big cities around the world
