This jarlet is decorated with lotus motifs around the mouth rim and the body is decorated with panels of floral motif. Blue and whites were introduced during the time Annam was occupied by the Chinese. The motifs and forms therefore reflect this Chinese influence. The best wares were produced in about the mid-15th century but blue and white wares continued to be produced even in the 16th century.
