This is a coffee-table book produced by the Shell Company of the Federation of Malaya Limited to show their appreciation to the countries where “Shell people” live and work, it also pays tribute to the formation of Malaysia and the country’s multi-racial and cultural society. It consists mainly of portraits (accompanied by short descriptions) painted by Malayan artist Mohamed Hoessein Bin Enas of Malaysians in their everyday lives and in their ethnic costumes.
