Known as ‘Chinese Baroque’ architecture, these private Chinese residences, as shown in the photograph, reflect a blend of Chinese and European motifs and styles. These residences are located in several parts of Singapore such as Tanjong Pagar, Emerald Hill and Joo Chiat. Although they were built decades ago, most of these residences still exist today.
