Three Chinese men sitting on the steps of the Lim Bo Seng Memorial

Dedicated to Singapore war hero Major-General Lim Bo Seng, a total of $50,000 was raised to build the memorial, which was unveiled in 1954 at Esplanade Park. The memorial was designed by Ng Keng Siang, a local architect.
