This is a studio wedding photograph of a Straits Chinese couple (both seated), bridesmaids (back row, left and right) and the best man (middle, back row). Both the groom and the best man are wearing Western-style suits while the bride and the bridesmaids are wearing loose straight-cut blouses with matching calf-length skirts. The women also sported bob haircuts and headbands, typical of the flapper style which was popular in the 1920s.
