Louis Feraud red dress with white collar

This Louis Feraud dress belonged to the late Christina Lee (1923-2009). The dress is made in such a way that it looks like a two-piece suit. The leg of mutton sleeves gives the wearer a broad-shouldered look. Christina Lee was the former wife of Loke Wan Tho, the founder and chairman of Cathay Organisation. An accomplished photographer, perfumer and businesswoman, she was also a style icon who was remembered for her poise, elegance and impeccable fashion sense. In 1965, she was named by Vogue magazine as one of the most beautiful women in Singapore.
