This hand-thrown stoneware dish has a foliated rim and ribbed interior walls. It is covered with a glossy pale grey-green glaze applied over a white slip (liquid clay) while the outside is covered with a thin greyish glaze. Sankampaeng was a northern kiln near Chiangmai, which produced wares for domestic use.
