This photograph shows Lee Chin Koon (1903-1997), father of Lee Kuan Yew (1923-2015) who was the first Prime Minster of Singapore. Born in Indonesia, he was the attorney to the Sugar King Oei Tiong Ham, and the first honorary secretary of the Chinese Swimming Club.
