This set of travel posters was commissioned by Singapore Airlines for an advertising campaign to promote overseas destinations which the airline served. The airline’s logo, a stylised version of a bird symbolising flight can be found on the poster. Inaugurated in 1972, Singapore Airlines is now recognised as one of the world’s most successful airline and its cabin crew – the “Singapore Girl” has become an international icon.
