The Bren Gun was a series of light machine guns that were used by the British and Commonwealth troops during WWII. This Mark I model was made by John Inglis & Company, a Canadian firm that manufactured weapons for the British and Commonwealth forces during WWII. Fitted with a bipod, the Bren Gun could also be mounted on a tripod or a vehicle, and be used from a pill box.
