"Save Now. It's A Lifetime Gain" was the 1990 slogan for the National School Savings Campaign. This POSB bookmark was part of a national campaign to promote the virtue of thriftiness among students, as well as to encourage them to save. It was introduced in 1969 and discontinued in 1978, before being re-launched in 1983. Bookmarks were but one among other various types of collaterals in association with the campaign, which included stickers, memo pads, T-shirts, calendars and the like.
