A Franking machine is a postage payment machine that prints the amount of postage fees on letters, large envelopes and parcels. It saves the trouble of deciding the suitable denomination of stamp to use for each individual mail. This Franking machine was used by Oversea- Chinese Banking Corporation during the early days of banking. It requires a lot of manual handling, unlike the digital franking machine today which can be connected to a personal computer.
