This is a porcelain spoon with a white ground and a gloss finish, featuring flower motifs.‘Laksa’ (a curry based noodle dish) is usually eaten with a spoon alone, without any chopsticks. Earlier forms of the dish were usually served by street hawkers in small, locally handmade bowls bearing southern Chinese motifs.
