The United Overseas Bank (UOB) Building was constructed on a site along Chulia Street formerly occupied by the three-storey Bonham Building. One of the tallest skyscrapers in Singapore when it first opened in 1974, the building subsequently underwent major refurbishment works in the mid 1990s and is now referred to as UOB Plaza Two.
