{SOURCE: AIF 11/24/2003} Wong Shih Yaw was one of the core members of the Artist Village when the group started to make works at the Sembawang farm premises leased by Tony Da Wu. WHilst many from the group moved on, particularly overseas, to further themselves, Shih Yaw dropped away from the screne and seemed to participate in the activitives of the group. In the mid 1990s, he re-emerged with solo exhibition.
