Stamp featuring the Fake Clown Anemonefish and Sea Anemone

This is a stamp depicting the interdependent relationship between the anemone fish and its anemone host. The anemone fish lives within the anemone’s tentacles for protection and, in turn, wards off its host’s predators. The stamp belongs to a set of four titled ‘Nature Series – Shores and Reefs’, which was issued as part of a programme to promote greater awareness, appreciation and protection of Singapore’s natural heritage.
