- Celebrate the history, significance, key figures and/or communities in Punggol;
- Reveal and promote new, or lesser-known, aspects of Punggol’s heritage and culture;
- Meaningfully engage young families in appreciating the heritage and culture of Punggol;
- Present Punggol’s heritage and culture in unique and/or innovative ways, such as through the use of art to engage audiences and to provide them with agency to learn more about the precinct’s heritage.

- Communities of Punggol (E.g. Kampung Wak Sumang, farmers, plantation workers, Teochew-Catholic community)
The National Heritage Board and OH! Open House jointly invite Singapore-based interest/community groups and/or individuals to submit a proposal for heritage-related projects to be conducted at the Heritage Activation Node at Punggol (HAN@Punggol) in 2025. HAN@Punggol aims to showcase year-round activities and programming that creatively explore and increase awareness of heritage and culture, engage the community, and activate shared public spaces of the Punggol neighbourhood.
Projects can take on various formats, including but not limited to:
The overall theme for HAN@Punggol from 2025 to 2026 is Histories in Transition.
Your project proposal should focus on at least one of the following HAN programming priorities:

Applications are open from 21 July 2025 to 28 September 2025, 2359hrs. Applicants are required to fill the project proposal template and an electronic application form, which they must submit as part of their project proposal along with required supporting documents (as stated in the brief) by 28 September 2025 (Sun), 2359hrs.

Heritage Champions: Call for Volunteers for Heritage Activation Nodes
- Be the face of HAN events and contribute to visitor experience;
- Facilitate HAN programmes, activities, and trails;

Heritage is for all! Join us in developing vibrant festivals and dynamic programmes that re-discover and celebrate the heritage of our neighbourhoods! Become a Heritage Champion for our Heritage Activation Nodes (HANs) where you can play the following roles, both physically and digitally:
As a HAN Heritage Champion, you can also expect to undergo expert-led training to gain valuable knowledge, which will help you grow and make a greater impact in promoting Singapore's cultural heritage. Do note that a minimum commitment of one year, with contribution to at least two volunteering roles, will be required.
